Wow! I actually posted another photo. I promise, I'm not lazy. I'm just very very busy.
I have a few more on the way today, and then I never can promise when I'll have more, but keep checking back and I'll try not to allow too much time to pass between uploads.
You're very welcome. That's an awesome picture! I also love the reference to Norse mythos. It inspired me to dig out my own reference in a poem I wrote some time ago and post it.
I almost forgot to post new things, I've been having so much fun looking through the posts of others! Here's something for you guys to whet your appetite while I whip up something for a main course.
Ok! Time to update and add more photos.
For those of you who know me, these will be repeats from other sites, but they are my favs and I want them to be stored somewhere a little safer.
*hugs to all*
Happy New Year, everyone!

Nothing's forever - forever in life Raise your head - look up to the sky Your wings have been burned but still you can learn how to fly fly again...

Request granted!
Lit Passage captures a place with several thresholds. The Yaquina Head lighthouse sits on the edge of a cliff above the ocean, a sharp marker between land and sea. The climb almost releases me from being earthbound, as I look out and almost see the curve of the horizon. The doorway leads from the long spiraled stairway to the landing below the light. I stand in a transition space to look out.
The walls show the passage of time in a rough environment. The lighthouse has been transformed from manned and oil burning to automated electronic, but the structure itself has not been updated. It doesn't quite belong to our time, but it doesn't belong to the past, either.
Ahh. The Meow hath found me.
Welcome, Kyt.
I'm taking requests for the general subject of the next set up uploads. I have construction, vehicles, landscapes, lakes, clouds, children, horses, birds, and even kitty cats!
And so much more, actually. Pick a topic. If I don't have it, I'll try to find it and take pictures.
It's going to be a long Winter. In honor of that, I have posted some photographs from last Winter of ice and snow.
Next, I'll probably post some Summer pictures to give me something to remember until the warm weather returns.

Please use "Reply" not "Post Comment" to reply... or I'll never remember to check if you've said anything. Thanks
